This week at St. Luke's
Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, the fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost,
services are at 8 and 10 a.m., and 5 p.m., a celebration of the Holy Eucharist in a meditative, contemplative spirit.
Children's Church will be offered during the sermon time of the 10 a.m. service for Pre-K through Grade 4.

Torchbearer Training is at 10 a.m. in the Church
Crucifer/Server Training is at 11 a.m. in the Church
The Youth Inquirers meet at noon in the Parish House.
From the Outreach Committee
Hunger Hurts! This is the last week we are focusing on collecting macaroni & cheese, canned beans and canned veggies. Check the windowsill in the Undercroft for how we did with our collection this month. As always, thank you for your support.
Looking ahead...
Friday Feeders will be going to Scali's Restaurant in Reynoldsburg Friday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. This restaurant is an old favorite and the Italian food is always wonderful. Please call Cherie Holland at 740-587-0091 or e-mail
hollicherie@roadrunner.com for directions or to make reservations. There will also be a sign-up sheet in the Undercroft.
The 2008-2009 Program Year beings Sunday, Sept. 7. Sunday services will be at 8, 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. and 5 p.m. The adult discussion group,
Coffee: Grounds for Discussion convenes at 10:15 in the Undercroft; children's education programs for grades Pre-K through 8 meet in the Parish House.
