Hygiene Product Collection, September

St. Luke’s is teaming up with United Way to collect Hygiene Products from September 1-30.

With your help, United Way of Licking County can provide the necessities of life that most people take for granted such as feminine hygiene, laundry soap, shampoo, deodorant, and other personal care hygiene products to local high school students.

Studies show that lack of access to basic necessities is a leading reason for chronic absenteeism. For these children, lost school time means lost learning time, which can leave them less likely to achieve academic success. UWLC will focus on high school and middle school students. Currently, elementary schools receive assistance through the Backpack Program. The emphasis will be on school districts with the highest ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed) demographics.

We are asking St. Luke's Parishioners to donated these much needed items:

• Facial Cleaner
• Feminine Hygiene: Tampons w/plastic applicator or Pads
• Body Wash
• Shampoo
