The Church Is Leaving The Building

For A Very Good Reason Sunday January 22!

On Sunday, Jan 22, Denison celebrates the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with a worship service in the gospel tradition of Ebenezer Baptist Church, King's home church. Rev. Tim Carpenter, coordinator for Christian Life and director of the Gospel Choir — "Rev" to the campus community, and most of Granville —will lead worship alongside student leaders, harkening back to King's own services as a Baptist preacher. The music will be supplied by the Gospel Choir!

This special service will take place in Herrick Hall (the round building) 11 am - 12:30 pm. There is lots of parking in the parking garage, and a member of St. Luke's will be there to point you in the right direction!

We will be shifting our schedule that day:
10:00 am Pre-service
Coffee hour in the undercroft with lively discussion - no Rite II service at St. Luke's

10:45 am Carpool
Up to Herrick Hall for 11:oo am Service
