Note From The Granville Turkey Trot

I’m sure some of you are probably not ready to concentrate on all that’s ahead in terms of the hustle and bustle of the upcoming holidays. However, there is a small group of dedicated people who have been thinking of and working toward that since the day after Thanksgiving. 

With the support of St. Luke’s, that team has been thinking, meeting, planning, reaching out, scheduling, and anticipating the 17th Annual Granville Turkey Trot and the clock is ticking! 
 
For anyone unfamiliar with the Turkey Trot (where have you been?) the best way to illustrate it is by the words from The Food Pantry Network of Licking County’s (FPNLC) website: “The Granville Turkey Trot is Granville’s most energetic Thanksgiving tradition and fundraiser for the Food Pantry Network of Licking County. This event has been a community favorite for more than 16 years and has raised more than $1,000,000 to aid with the acquisition and distribution of food in Licking County.”
 
The GTT website is up and running (pun intended) so be sure to take a look and learn all the details about the race, how you can volunteer to help, and be a part of the fun!
 
Lastly, come see us each Saturday in October at the Granville Farmer’s Market or better yet, volunteer to be part of the booth and enjoy a beautiful fall morning with your community.
