Civil Discourse Training

At the encouragement of Bishop White, members of the Diocese of Southern Ohio are encouraged t participate in a five-week curriculum on civil discourse developed by the Office of Government Relations of the Episcopal Church and Forward Movement. In addition, the Diocese is offering a single evening Zoom workshop titled Make Me an Instrument of Peace: Building Capacity for Engaging on Tough Topics, on October 8th.

As we find ourselves in this heated climate prior to our elections, this workshop will "focus on civil discourse as a critical tool for bridging partisan divides, learning from one another, and creating better solutions for our communities.”
