St. Luke's Prayer Chain
This is an invitation to people of prayer, which I am sure includes all of you.
In case you didn’t know, St Luke’s has a ministry of intercessory prayer that can definitely include you. Concerns for people, whatever their circumstance might be, are passed on to the church office (740-587-0167) gathered together, and a prayer list is in turn passed on through email to the people who have agreed to pray for them in whatever way and whenever they can.
Praying for someone else, holding them in the love and grace and light of God, can happen anytime and anywhere, whether folks have their hands in the dirt, in a sink full of dirty dishes, or clasped together at the table. Praying for the concerns of another person can be done by anyone. YOU can do this, and we’d like you to. Besides, “God is waiting for our prayers …”
If you’re interested in being a part of this prayer ministry, please let Wayne Piper (wwp1946@gmail.com) or Roger Nichols (rogernic@roadrunner.com) know.
