With Gratitude For Restoring Our Kneeler!

We give thanks to Marsha and Bill Hanes who ensured that our dove of peace kneeler that graces the center of the altar at communion, beautifully designed by Lyn McKenna, has been cleaned and restored. This design has been reproduced several times on canvas and given as gifts to parishoners. A large canvas print of this same design is hanging in the Parish House. The kneeler has been returned to its rightful place at the altar. Thank you to the Hanes for taking the care and time to have this piece of St. Luke’s history brought back to us. As a reminder, the Hanes also painstakingly cleaned all the other kneelers that you see at the altar and in the pews that have intricate embroidered designs.
