Search Committee Update

The search for a Rector has entered a new phase. The committee is in the process of reviewing the men and women that showed interest in St Luke’s call. Our call for a Rector was listed on the Diocesan website and in their normal communications during a six weeks period ending November 1. Our call also went out through the national website for Episcopal Parishes. The individuals that passed the Diocesan due diligence process and meet the qualities set forth in our parish profile will be screened further by the search committee and interviewed. Our interactions with Bishop White’s staff has been refreshing and positive. The interview process will begin early in 2025. 

Almighty God, you know the needs of your Church in every place: look graciously upon us, the people of St. Luke’s, and grant us the guidance of your Holy Spirit as we seek a new Rector.

Give us discernment, wisdom, and confidence in your timing.
Guide the members of our Search Committee, as they labor to be faithful in seeking your will.

We pray for the life of our parish, that we may continue to be strengthened in our mission to be Jesus Christ’s heart, hands and feet.

All this we ask as we walk in your ways to the glory of your name. Amen.
