Note From The Rector Search Committee

As they say, “the hay is in the barn!” 

The Rector Search Committee has completed Phase 1 which includes the Parish Profile and the OTM (Office of Transitional Ministry) Documents. The committee’s work was approved at the August Vestry meeting and all information is now in the hands of the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio. Bishop Kristen Uffleman White and Rev. Michael Spencer, Canon for OTM will review our submissions. Once reviewed, they will provide us with recommendations or accept what we have provided. When all of us involved in this process are satisfied with our information the St. Luke’s opening will be posted. The posting will be live for 4-6 weeks.

The Rev. Canon Spencer will initially vet all applicants. At the close of the post, he will forward all acceptable applicants to the Search Committee – Phase 2. After the committee screens the applicants the interview process will begin – Phase 3. That is far enough into the future for now.

After hearing from the Diocese the committee would like to share the Parish Profile and OTM documents with YOU at a coffee hour in September. In addition to serving up some great information we will also serve some wonderful breakfast food. Plan to join us. Date to be announced.
