St. Luke's Book Club: October 30

t. Luke’s Book Club looks forward to another year of reading and sharing an exciting selection of books with our members and friends of St. Luke’s. As in years past, we will meet in the Undercroft, but at a new time, 1:30 pm, and lighter fare of simple nibbles/treats instead of lunch. The open conversations of the selected books will continue! Our theme. this year is “Women in Their Own Words”, with a range of memoirs written by women, all of whom have had an out-sized impact on society. All members as well as friends of St. Lukes are welcome. Please email your intent to participate to the church office at office@stlukesgranville.org

Join us September 18th for the book this program year!

Madeleine Albright

In 2001, when Madeleine Albright was leaving office as America’s first female secretary of state, interviewers asked her how she wished to be remembered.“I don’t want to be remembered,”she answered.“I am still here and have much more I intend to do. As difficult as it might seem, I want every stage of my life to be more exciting than the last.”
